Hi, I’m Emrys!

I am a UX researcher with a background in psychology and design. I aim to create accessible and good technologies that promote pro-social behaviors.

I hold an M.S. in Creative Technologies and Design, focus on Social Impact and a B.A. in Psychology, focus on Cognitive Science.

I was a UX researcher for CU Boulder for three years where my research improved the student portal, academic administrative processes, and analytics structure. Additionally, I was also project manager where I built websites for therapists and social workers and a special education paraeducator for a transition school that recorded data for each student’s behaviors—such as frequency, trigger, and reaction response—for their individualized education plan. One of my biggest accomplishments in the public school education system was developing a MakerSpace for the Middle School department to aid in technological student exploration.
