Collective Citadel
App Design
I created an App called Collective Citadel where D&D (Dungeons and Dragon) players can create a map, create a party, and interact easily. I did this while I attended the UX & Design Immersive program at General Assembly .
Key screens:
How do you design an app?
User Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct User interviews, distill your findings, identify potential competitors
Personas and User Flows: Know your user—What’s their context? How are you solving a problem they have? What’s their flow? Revise your problem space to address their needs and concerns! (Pivot?)
Feature Prioritization: What are the bare minimum features that your app should be able to do based on your user insights? Sketch your key screens!
Wireframes: Check the visual design of your wireframes. Are they up to standard for the media platform you’re optimizing for? If you are breaking metaphors, is it something that is intuitive, is it necessary for functionality, ease of use, or experience?
Prototype and Usability tests: Create a usable prototype in order for your users to get a feel of what your product should be. Test it! Does your solution work?
Present your findings and product: What did you do? Why did you do it? What problem were people experiencing and how did you solve it? How do you know that your solution works?
