General Overview of Wildstream

My Social Impact Lab team developed "WildStream," a first-of-its-kind system aimed at enhancing wildlife observation for individuals with limited physical mobility. This innovative solution integrates a spotting scope with wireless technology, enabling live video streaming from remote locations to any WiFi-enabled device. Designed with accessibility in mind, it features large dials, quick-release attachments, and a user-friendly interface with enlarged fonts. Operating independently of wireless networks or cell service, "WildStream" democratizes access to nature, ensuring an inclusive experience.

What did I do?

  • Led the user experience research on the hardware and software product development.

  • Created a user manual and quick guide based on user feedback.

  • Conducted an accessibility review and provided recommendations to improve the visual components of the UI.
